After three of the six rounds of the 2026 French FFSA Truck Racing Championship, the title battle is more open than ever. Thanks to an outstanding performance at this weekend&rsquo;s Nogaro Truck Grand Prix, Thomas Robineau has reignited the fight against T&eacute;o Calvet, the three-time defending winner of the 24 Heures Camions. As the championship enters its second half, all eyes are already turning towards the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans, which will host the 41st edition of the 24 Heures Camions on 26 and 27 September.

<h2>Thomas Robineau Fully Revives the Championship Fight at Nogaro</h2>

This weekend marked a turning point in the 2026 French FFSA Truck Racing Championship season. At the Nogaro circuit, Thomas Robineau (MAN #75) delivered a top-class performance by winning the Nogaro Truck Grand Prix Sporting Challenge ahead of T&eacute;o Calvet (Freightliner #20) and Ivan Rodrigues (MAN #94).

With two race victories in Races 1 and 3, a second-place finish in Race 4 and remarkable consistency throughout the weekend, the Team Robineau driver reduced the gap in the overall championship standings to just six points behind T&eacute;o Calvet. A perfect result for a driver aiming to secure another national title.

This collective success also enabled Team Robineau to win the weekend&rsquo;s Teams Challenge, confirming the growing strength of the Sarthe-based squad.

Spectators enjoyed four fiercely contested races, with T&eacute;o Calvet also taking victories in Races 2 and 4. Rapha&euml;l Sousa, Jonathan Andr&eacute;, Ivan Rodrigues and Anthony Robineau also shone by securing podium finishes.

Despite his rival&rsquo;s comeback, T&eacute;o Calvet remains at the top of the championship standings and continues to be the benchmark of the French truck racing scene. This year, the Team Buggyra Racing&nbsp;driver will be aiming for a historic achievement: winning the 24 Heures Camions for a fourth consecutive time.

Standing in his way is Thomas Robineau, who will enjoy a significant advantage: racing on home soil. The Calvet-Robineau Duel Heats Up Ahead of the 2026 24 Heures Camions

This year’s 24 Hours Camions initially scheduled on 26–27 September at the Bugatti track in Le Mans, subsequently postponed to 7–8 November, will not take place.

The Automobile Club de l&rsquo;Ouest, in conjunction with ETRA Promotion (FIA ETRC promoter), the FIA and the FFSA, has taken the decision to cancel the 36th annual 24 Hours Camions truck racing event initially scheduled for 26&ndash;27 September at the Bugatti track in Le Mans and later postponed to November. 
 
Uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic has led the organisers to take this difficult decision.&nbsp; 
&nbsp; 
For the ACO, the FIA, the FFSA,&nbsp;ETRA&nbsp;and FranceRoutes, the overriding priority is to uphold our high standards and ensure the safety of all involved in our events. We are responding to an unprecedented situation. 
 
The 36th 24 Hours&nbsp;Camions was to be a celebration of the transport industry. We planned to salute the crucial role played by those who continued deliveries during lockdown, sometimes at risk to their own health. Transport companies and their drivers deserve to be praised. We shall have great pleasure in welcoming everyone to the Bugatti in September 2021.

24 Heures Camions 2018

This weekend of&nbsp;29 and&nbsp;30 September&nbsp;2018, the&nbsp;24 Heures Camions at Le&nbsp;Mans put on quite a show for the thousands of spectators in attendance, with fierce battles on the track - in both the French&nbsp;Championship and European&nbsp;Championship&nbsp;- as well as a breathtaking parade of decorated trucks. In this extraordinary procession of color&nbsp;and sound, one truck was dedicated to the memory of Johnny Hallyday. For fans of the singer, who passed away during the night between&nbsp;5 and&nbsp;6 December&nbsp;2017, it was&nbsp;the perfect reminder of how much he loved road and racing cars and&nbsp;motos.&nbsp;
